"Gato" the South American Red-Tailed Catfish
This used to be in our living room when we lived in Idaho. We purchased him when he was about 4" long. SO CUTE! At last count, he was about 26"! Sadly, we sold him rather than trying to move him across the state. We couldn't bear to have him die. He was a great pet. He ate from our fingers, broke FOUR ebo-jager heaters (we eventually gave up on heaters and just kept the room warmer), pushed any decorations out of the tank with his nose, splashed us when he was hungry, and always greeted us when we came home. He is missed!
